Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
The Calcutainer is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how consent choices work, and what may change if advertising is activated after review.
1. Data We Collect
The Calcutainer does not require registration or login. We do not ask you to create an account, submit a profile, or provide personally identifiable information to use the calculators. Some third-party services may process limited technical and usage data as described below.
2. Calculator Inputs
Calculator inputs are used to generate results in your browser or on the page you are using. The Calcutainer does not intentionally collect those inputs as account data, and you should avoid entering sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information into any calculator.
3. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use The Calcutainer, such as which pages are visited, approximate device and browser information, and general usage patterns. This information helps us improve the site. Analytics storage is controlled through the consent banner and Google Consent Mode.
4. Advertising and Google AdSense
The Calcutainer is prepared for possible Google AdSense advertising using Publisher ID ca-pub-9307215137341020, but AdSense ad loading and ad slots remain disabled until site approval and explicit activation. If advertising is enabled in the future, Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and Google's policies.
5. Cookies and Consent
We use a consent manager to let you choose whether analytics and advertising-related storage may be used. By default, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization are set to denied until consent is updated.
- Consent cookie (
calcutainment_consent): Stores your consent preferences. - Analytics cookies (such as
_ga): May be used by Google Analytics after analytics consent is granted. - Advertising cookies (such as
__gadsor__gpi): May be used by Google advertising services only if advertising is enabled and the applicable consent is granted.
You can update your cookie preferences from the consent banner or preferences dialog when it is available on the site.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with privacy rights, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. Because The Calcutainer does not operate user accounts or directly store personal profiles, many analytics or advertising-related requests may need to be handled through Google's privacy tools. You can also manage Google advertising preferences at adssettings.google.com.
7. Data Retention
We do not store personal account data on Calcutainer servers. Google Analytics data may be retained according to the settings configured in Google Analytics and Google's own retention controls.
8. Third-Party Links
The Calcutainer links to other websites, including sites in the Calcutainment ecosystem. Those sites may have their own privacy practices, and you should review their policies separately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time, especially if advertising is approved and activated, new analytics settings are adopted, or the Calcutainment ecosystem changes. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date above.
